Voice AI startup ElevenLabs more than triples valuation in $500M round
ElevenLabs said Today that the Cash Infusion Values It at $11 Billion, More Than Triple the $3.3 Billion the Company was Worth Last January
The valuation jump is a reflection of the AI provider’s sales growth. ElevenLabs, which was founded in 2022, is generating more than $330 million in annualized revenue from a customer base that includes Meta Platforms Inc., Nvidia Corp. and other major tech firms.

OpenAI has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Neptune, a startup that builds monitoring and de-bugging tools that artificial intelligence companies use as they train models. Neptune and OpenAI have collaborated on a metrics dashboard to help teams that are building foundation models. The companies will work “even more closely together” because of the acquisition, Neptune CEO Piotr Niedźwiedź said in a blog.

French AI lab Mistral releases new AI models as it looks to keep pace with OpenAI and Google

The French company’s announcement follows on from model releases from the likes of DeepSeek and Google in recent weeks, as AI labs across the globe scramble to remain at the frontier of research while also building out commercial operations. Mistral’s release includes a large model which it claims is the “world’s best open-weight multimodal and multilingual.”

The funding talks come months after CEO David Ha said publicly that the company would operate profitably within a year. Sakana is developing AI with a different type of technology than OpenAI, Anthropic and Google use.
